Draven's Gingerbread Cookies

Ingredients

Dry

  • 360g (about 3 cups) all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons ground ginger
  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
  • ¼ teaspoon cloves
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Wet

  • ¾ cup (170g) unsalted butter
  • ¾ cup (180g) brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • No molasses. Just no. It’s kinda gross.

Instructions

  1. Whisk the dry ingredients together in a bowl.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix the wet ingredients together.
  3. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet, mixing as you go.
  4. Refrigerate the dough overnight.
  5. On a lightly floured surface, roll dough to desired thickness and cut into shapes.
  6. Bake at 350°F for 10 minutes.
